Monge Project - Beaune
Location
Beaune
This renovation project for a private mansion involved combining five separate apartments into a single house, designed as a unique and coherent living space. The new layout of the rooms has made the spaces more clearly defined, while adapting them to contemporary uses.
The architectural work was accompanied by the creation of a glass floor and roof, providing generous natural light and creating a winter garden in the heart of the house. Certain existing elements were revealed and enhanced, notably the exposure of a French ceiling and the careful restoration of the original parquet floors.
The bathrooms were entirely created or redesigned, with shower rooms and bathrooms featuring marble vanity tops and high-end fixtures. Extensive plasterwork and molding restored the classic elegance of the space, enhanced by the installation of Baccarat chandeliers.
The complete decoration of the property, the choice of furniture, and the complete renovation of the wine cellars round off this exceptional project, carried out in collaboration with high-quality companies with an eye for detail and expertise.
